Request account closure and permanent removal of your Contenta AI data.

The [**Close Account**](https://www.app.contenta.ai/en/dashboard/settings/security) option allows you to permanently delete your Contenta AI account and remove access to the platform.

Once confirmed, account deletion is permanent and irreversible. You may lose access to saved projects, generated content, connected integrations, subscription benefits, available credits, and account history.

## To close your account

* This action is permanent and cannot be undone
* Saved projects, generated content, and settings may be permanently removed
* Active subscriptions should be cancelled first
* Unused credits may be forfeited
* Connected websites or integrations may stop working after deletion
* Some associated data may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes

# Connect to WordPress

## Before you start

To connect Contenta AI with WordPress, you’ll need a WordPress Application Password.

This allows secure access to your site without sharing your main account password.

## Get a WordPress Application Password

## Connect WordPress in Contenta AI

Once you have your Application Password, go to the Integrations page to connect your WordPress site.

# Accept MCM Invitation

Accept the Google Ad Manager access invitation from Contenta AI to activate ad inventory management and start displaying ads on your verified website.

Once you have [added and verified your website](/monetization/add-website), Contenta AI sends a request to manage your ad inventory via Google Ad Manager 360. You need to accept this invitation to give Contenta AI permission to manage and optimize ads on your site. The steps below walk you through finding and accepting the request.

## What you need to do

To begin generating revenue with Contenta AI Monetization solution, you need to register and verify your website.

## What you need to do

    * **Category** - Select the niche that best describes your content.
    * **Description** (optional) - Briefly describe your audience and content focus.

    To confirm you own the domain and prevent unauthorized monetization, you must add two lines to your `ads.txt` file.

      Both lines must be present in your `ads.txt` file before Contenta AI can verify your ownership. Missing either line will leave your site in **Pending** status.

    After submitting your site details, a popup will display your unique verification code and the required ads.txt line. Copy both lines and add them to your `ads.txt` file, each on a separate row:

    Once the file is saved and publicly accessible at `yourdomain.com/ads.txt`, return to Contenta AI and click **Verify Ownership**. The system checks your file automatically and confirms ownership in seconds.

    After submitting, your website appears in the list with a status indicator showing where it is in the verification process:

    * **Pending** - The required records were not found in your `ads.txt` file yet. Check that both lines are present, each on its own row, that the file is publicly accessible at `yourdomain.com/ads.txt`, and that any recent changes are live (allow time for caching to clear).
    * **Verified** - Ownership confirmed. Your website is now one step closer to monetization.

# Complete Google Ad Manager setup

After accepting the MCM invitation, you may be asked to finish setting up your Google Ad Manager account. This is required to activate monetization.

## What you need to do

    * Select your billing country

    * Read the Google Ad Manager Terms of Service and the Multiple Customer Management (MCM) Child Authorization Agreement
    * Tick both checkboxes to proceed
